bellcaptainBecoming suspicious that there might be something more to Dylan Sharp? Feel that there's something off about the lad? Welp, it's probably not just in your head.
Simply put, Deryn is a girl living as a boy named Dylan. While it's not a necessity for her to masquerade as a boy in Death City like it was in her canon, she continues to do so because it feels comfortable to her. That's why she will introduce herself as Dylan to people, wear boy clothes and try to speak in a lower voice. There's nothing stopping others from finding her secret but know that she managed to keep her disguise while living on an airship filled with men for several months. Just let me know before hand if you want your character to know her real gender.
